Hello everyone

My mom was diagnosed with bowel cancer in March last year, she had part of her bowel removed and all cancer cells apart from one, which they couldn`t get to.  We were told in September after her ct scan that there was nothing there and we felt like we had won the lottery.

After another ct scan in December we were called back to the consultant and he told us she had some spots on the lining of her stomach, if she didn`t have chemo then she would last 6 months, shes been really ill on it and they have taken her off it and put her on steroids to give her energy etc,  we have another appointment on Monday with the consultant, dont know what for, i`m only praying they can put her on a different chemo, shes had 2 lots and the first lot she was great on, the 2nd time she was terrible, dehydration, hair falling out etc

We can`t remember if the consultant said shes a grade 4 or stage 4, my mom seems great now, like her old self, like nothing has happened but i`m just worried if its going to hit us hard, it feels like my world has collapsed, only lost my Dad 4 years ago with cancer and i feel so bitter and angry.  Has anyone else tried natural remedies? oil? etc
