Dealing with mum having grade 4

Hello everyone, (this is my first post so please bare with me x)

So very long story short, my mum has grade 4 glioblastoma. I already know what I need to know about this so I don’t want a reminder :( but I’m honestly not sure whether I’m coming or going at the moment. I’m at uni doing a masters which I worked so hard to get on to, but I’ve just lost all interest. Sometimes I feel completely fine, then other times (like today) I feel like I can’t even cry because it doesn’t express how sad I am. She’s my best friend in the whole world. I have to try and carry on as normal as mum said that’s all she wants from me. Is there a right way to cope? :(

  • Hi,

I am can see that you are going through depression.I know its hard to deal with cancer but they are many research geting done to get colser to a cure. I think that you should focus on doing everything possible to help this.Raise money, awarness. help other people who are going through this. Thios will help you with your depression as well. Stay strong for your mum xxxxxxx

  • I so much agree with last post.  Medical science bounds forward to new cures.  Just let your mum know that you are who you are because of her. Just love her.  Let her know she’s your best friend.

Becoming involved with fundraising and helping others will be a way of doing something for you, your mum and other people in this same sad situation.

    xxxxx
