Hi deffo an valentines tomfotgwt,Glad he is home and ok .Re the feeding I wasn’t peg fed but did have a nasal feeding tube and yes insoon be ame tired and fully.Our tummy’s quickly shrink and I found 300 mil made me full and subsequently tired .My tube wasntbthe sort that I could feed at night with so itbwas a full day trying to sleep feed hospital ,I rarely got the full amount if feed in as I was tired and tunmmy full I used to have to stand up towards end of feed tontry and get more stuff in. 

hooe  this  makes sense , even now 18 month on I don’t eat as much as I used to , plus in the weeks after treatment i found  it easier to eat 6 smaller meals rather than the traditional 3 meals a day .

Hiya, so sorry to hear about herbie,s infection in the throat, glad to here he,s over it now, I was on a litre of feed and 60mls of flush 15 times a day, and I was the same with the morphine all I did was sleep, I'm at the stage now I still have my peg in, but I'm not using it at all, I'm now eating 3 times a day.

Thanks I think we will split them up a bit more and maybe take a bit more time with eacj one.  He doesn't like doing it so tries to get it done asap but 1.5 bottles in 10 minutes plus flushing is probably a bit too qucik

Hi , yea maybe just go at a pace that suits him , took me a while to see how much to have , and how long , it's natural to want it over quick , but can make u feel bit sickly , even now if I drink a fresubin energy drink too fast it makes me feel sick and dizzy , everyone's is different so go with whst feels right , and exactly onwards and upwards you might not think that will happen , slowly but surly it will. Xxxxxx
