I am sorry to hear you mum has been diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour and it must be hard to learn that it can't be operated on and that she cannot have chemotherapy. I hope her radiotherapy treatment proves effective in preventing the tumour from growing. I think it might be worth getting in touch with your mum's medical team and asking them what the next steps will be in your mum's particular circumstances. I am sure they will be able to tell you more about this. 

I hope you will also meet others on this forum who have had radiotherapy before for a brain tumour and that they will share their experience with you.
