Finally got my results after surgery

Lump removed from my thyroid was cancerous (papillary thyroid cancer). Feeling relieved because I’ve been waiting so long and imagining all sorts. Will find out a plan a week on Tuesday. Possibly more surgery needed.

    I'm really glad the forum was able to help you whilst you waited for your results - no need to apologise for ranting as that is what the forum is for :)

    I'm sorry that the lump was cancerous. Fingers crossed it was contained and hasn't spread but do let us know what they say on Tuesday - we'll be thinking of you and hoping for the best.
