Hi Everyone

I am new to this so please bear with me. I have had 2 X Lletz treatments under GA - the first one was in 2014, the hospital did 3 X follow up smears, the third, 1 year after the Lletz was clear so they sent me on my way stating 5 years , however I insisted on 3 years. So June 2018 smear due, made appointment at GP, the nurse was unable to complete so sent me to the hospital - appointment in September then called for colposcopy clinic (no results sent). Lots of issues with hospital so opted to go private, they could not do the procedure under local, so went for second Lletx under GA 8/1/2019. Results 241/2019 - Cin 2/3, but they found in the centre a very small cancer cell (just 1). I was devastated by both this and the suggestion to have a hysterectomy. I have digested the information, along with the words that they is no guarantee after the hysterectomy that they will find anything wrong so have decided against it. Follow up smear June 2019. 

Has anyone else had the same, and how have you dealt with it?
