Floyd, sounds as though you need to ask some serious questions of your medical team. My cancer was of the vocal cords and I was kept informed at every stage of the year long process. I know friends that have prostate cancer and have undergone RT. Usually this will be only treatment and then they will have their various ‘ levels’ monitored closely. It appears that you are now undergoing a secondary hormone treatment which, and I don’t mean to be alarmist, is usually reserved for use should the initial RT not have been effective. You would have had this all explained to you and consent would have had to be received ? This is why you need to consult with the doctors and find out what is the course of treatment that you are on.
