Dads prostate cancer......kick in the teeth.

Hey , 

new to all this so here goes my dad was diagnosed with g7 prostate cancer which has spread to his lower spine he has been started on hormone pills and will get injections in a few weeks and he is starting chemotherapy in the next few weeks. My question is anyone been there done that?

    Welcome to our forum, although I'm sorry for the reason that you've had to join us.

    I am so sorry to hear about your dad's diagnosis. I'm afraid that I cannot help with your question as I am a breast care lady.

    However, if you go to the blue banner at the top of this page and click on the search box, insert your key words into the box and click. This will bring up previous posts on the subject, which you might find helpful.

    It is a hard road that you are both on, but I hope that your dad will soon feel some benefit from his treatment.

    Hi again,

    Try to stick to the more reputable sites like this one. Avoid the temptation to consult 'Dr Google'. Much of his information is out of date, poorly researched and will terrify you for no good reason.
