Options re cervical cancer

So the MDT meeting has took place and best option advised was hysterectomy. Am young only 29 and I want a family . Dr advised there is other option were they will leave womb and then just take out cervix untill I have a child and then get the hysterectomy. Has anyone had this or anyone going through this .

    What stage have they said your cancer is at??? Mine is staged a 1b1 squamous cell as they found a 1cm tumour in biopsys but no clear margins. .I'm 31 and been told treatment is a radical hysterectomy which is booked in for 22nd Jan.  It's hard,can't imagine how ur feeling as luckily I already have 3 children so i just want rid of the c!

    they think just now it’s stage 1b x but won’t know for definite untill I get my mri to ensure it’s not spread or larger than what they expected x just hard this waiting game and waiting on letters for appointments x

    Try not to worry they staged me 1b1 before having scans and after scans stage was the same.They have seen a lesion on't spleen during the scans but they said there not worried about that at the mo as cervical doesnt go to there but now I no it's there it is worrying.There going to check it again in a few months with a scan.  They should get u in pretty quick,I had scans done on 19th and 20th dec and had results on 27th. My consultant also phoned me on 21st to say she had seen scans and all looked positive but I still had to go on 27th after they had there meeting to get results.

    I know am feeling positive abt whole situation I have great support system x still don’t believe it in a way so ave not cried or that yet x am scared am going to break soon x I hope eveything goes okay with you keep me posted nice speaking to someone that’s going through same as me makes it easier to talk about xx
