My mum has just been diagnosed.  She is a hospital.  They put a stent in.  

It has spread slightly to the omentum.  No surgery, just chemo is being offered.

My dad was also in hospital from Xmas day but he was discharged on Monday as need to wait on the doctors discussing his options we feel lost as we don't know anything about hisntype xx

Been a mental few weeks dad still in hospital been in since 7th jan 

He got pet scan today so still waiting on answers x 

4 weeks today from diagnosis and no further on xz

Mentally it is tough, in some ways it will get easier once you know more and there is a treatment plan in place.  Once his treating Drs have the results of his scan they should be in a better position to advise you of whatwill follow.  Hopefully while he has been in hospital they will have been able to treat his symptoms and he's feeling a little better,
