Hi,
I am sorry to hear you are going through this - what type of cancer do you have? I had cervical cancer and had chemo and radiation. It was tough but I got through it ok. I do not have children so I can't give you advice on how to approach that aspect of treatment. I wonder if your treatment facility has any resources for people with children, you might want to check with them. I had a friend who had breast cancer and she never let her children see her without her wig, once her hair was gone. They knew what she was going through but it helped them get through it. Everyone is different, though.
Let us know how you are getting along.

Hi
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis.
I had Radiotherapy and Chemo tablets for a rectal cancer tumour,
It was not as bad as I thought it was going to be.
It was 5 weeks Radiotherapy at Christies. I drove there myself, felt ok until the last week no sickness but I did have Runs and tiredness.
I'm going for an MRI scan tomorrow and CT scan in January, then it will operation at some point to remove the remainder of the tumour, not looking forward to that.
Don't be too proud to ask for help it will be hard with young children.
Lots of Luck
My thoughts are with you
John
