Hi. New to the forum.
My mum had bowel cancer 12 years ago and a facial growth 2years ago both of which we were told were gone.
Now a rectal tumour has been found following bleeds and subsequent colonoscopy. Whist waiting to find out next steps the MDT have reviewed and asked for further tests.
Now waiting for MRI of liver, blood tests and mammogram. Waiting for the tests to be scheduled yet now received an appointment to see the breast consultant!
Can anyone tell me if this is standard procedure or if this sounds like metastatic breast and liver?
It's the waiting and uncertainty that's keeping me awake!
