PSA levels

I am trying to find out how indicative of cancer is a PSA of 49.7, my husband had this level over 2 years ago at the hospital when being investigated for haematuria, he wasn’t given the result, was discharged and had no follow up.  He has just been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer with secondaries in his shoulder.

    I'm afraid that as I don't have a medical background I won't be able to help you with your question but perhaps you could phone our lovely team of cancer nurses to ask about PSA levels? If you wish to call them, their lines are open Monday - Friday between 9 a.m - 5 p.m on 0808 800 4040.
