I’m glad to hear that your new GP sounds as if she is a caring individual – something that is essential when you are going through this.

Don’t worry about the tears - they are a good release valve. You sound remarkably positive at this early stage. Just remember that we are here for you in your weaker moments – we all have them!

We are in the same boat but I'm a little further down the line than you. I had my chemo assessment appointment today and it seems its all systems go for me and I start my first chemo on Wednesday. I am planning on  facing this head on and staying as positive as I can, its a necessary evil. If you want to ask anything feel free to message me and we can swap notes.

Morning!  Just a quickie for now as am off to work. . I wanted to let you know I’m m thinking of you today. The MRI scanner noises I just envisaged as a washing machine (a very old one!)  on full spin!  Hey it’s a chance to have a lie down too .

Haha! Absolutely accurate. It wasn't bad at all. I was nearly sent home to return as a day patient on a ward as the nurse couldn't find a vein for the dye. I begged her to keep trying and on the 4th attempt bingo! I nearly kissed her!

just wondering how you are? My MRI was clear so good news. I am having surgery on 17th and then radiotherapy. I feel blessed.
