Hi there ...

I had my masectomy July last year ... and if I remember it right ... because wer more aware and do feel the lump more often... I think it's a bit of both ... 

For me, the op really wasn't half as bad as I'd imagined .. the worse part was the weeks leading up to it .. feeling positive one minute, and tears the next ... think it was being scared of the unknown .. but once you think just get this uninvited guest out of my body .. it does help .. 

So we'll all be thinking of you .. any problems there's not much we can't answer ... so know your not alone ... don't worry too much about the pain ... but mention it to your oncology nurses .. or mcmillan, or the nurses on here ... they helped me befor my op ...  Chrissie x
