  •  Hello Lara,  i’m so sorry to hear about your dad.  It must be very,  very difficult for you all. And he is still so young isn’t he?  Nothing anybody can say at this point it’s really going to help other than to try and reassure you that as time goes on, things will settle down a little into some kind of routine .  It won’t be easy, you will all be incredibly worried and scared and unsure of the future. Just make sure that you get all the answers you need from your medical team.  Be there for each other, laugh, cry and talk – it is so important.  There are lots of people on this forum who will be there to help and support you. I don’t know too much about your dad’s cancer but I can totally empathise with how scared you are.  I had a Niece called Lara.... such a beautiful name for a very beautiful young lady. And I’m sure you’re no different.  And I love the title of your post – there is two words speak volumes about how much you love your dad.

Please take care of yourself my dear, you are going to need to be there for your family. As they are going to need to be there for you.

Sending you lots of love and courage. Thinking of you
