My mum has recently been diagnosed with a very similar form of lung cancer that is starting to spread to one of the lymph nodes in her chest.

I wondered how your husband is getting on now?

Hi, my husband had two lobes removed from his right lung in February followed by adjuvant chemotherapy which was successful however his follow up scan has showed an enlarged lymph node in chest and a rim of fluid could this be the cancer back?  He is having another scan next month to see if there is any change 

hello my husband has had his xray back with shadowing and is getting pain in right hand side of his chest which gets worse with laughter or sneezing were obviously fearing the worse as had throat cancer over a year ago but with chemo and radiotherapy he got the all clear if this is cancer im hoping its contained so he can have surgery how is your husband x

Hello Kezza-88 It must be a sporting time for you , fingers crossed that your dad has an infection that can cause shadowing. My husband has now been given the all clear and just has to have 6 monthly check ups. We know he has been very lucky.

that's amazing news its actually my husband not my dad were both hoping its nothing serious but cant see us being that lucky. its even harder as im 5 months pregnant too so obviously dont want him going anywhere for some years yet hes only 36! never smoked either. how fast was they with your husband x

Sorry I did mean I hope your husband gets good news. My husband was diagnosed with nsclc November 2018 things moved very quickly he had scans etc then had lobectomy in February this year followed by chemotherapy which he tolerated quite well really was given the all clear in October. Try and keep positive and good luck with your pregnancy.

that's fantastic how they moved so quickly with him im hoping they do the same with my husband too. sorry to keep asking so many questions what symptoms did he have and for how long xx

I hope they act quickly with your husband . My husband had two what we thought were panic attacks fortunately our GP sent him for chest X-ray which showed the tumour. 

oh wow so lucky then so he had no symptoms see richard has pain in his chest which gets worse with laughing or sneezing and very deep breaths im hoping this isnt a bad sign that its been there a while xx
