Hello,
I’m a 23 year old female who’s 53 year old mum has just been diagnosed with Lymphoma. I’m extremely close to my mum, she’s my best friend and I’m so devastated by this news. It’s not the first time she’s had cancer, she was first diagnosed when I was only 6 months old with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. I’m really struggling to cope and can’t stop crying about it. Mum however is trying to remain upbeat about it - She’s been through it all before after all.
We are supposed to be going on holiday in a couple of weeks on a cruise and the consultant is encouraging us to go but I am terrified about it. She’s determined we are going to enjoy ourselves.
I joined this forum for a little support and comfort from fellow members. Any words of advice for my family and I?
