Hi I just been diagnosed with bowel cancer I'm having surgery on Monday & been told I'll have a coloscomybag I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on day to day living with it as its a bit scary for me thanks
I'm afraid I dont have much advice for you about this but I didnt want to just scroll past without saying anything. I am really sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and having surgery so soon is a blow as well and of course being told about having to use a bag, you must be feeling so overwhelmed. I know it is scary about hearing news about having a bag, I was told I could need one if my cancer came back and just that scared the living daylights out of me! I just want to say I wish you the best for monday and if you are needing any other help at all we are always here :)
Hello Cobbler. So sorry hearng this. Like you been in the same situation. Like you terrified of every thing at the moment with Op in a week also having Colostomy bag. Not sure how I`m going to cope. Also like you self have so little knowledge at the moment. Good luck on Monday
