Stereotactic radiotherapy - treatment and side effects?

Hello, 

I was diagnosed last week with Liver cancer, I had breast cancer in 2016, so this has hit me like a sledgehammer. At the moment I am waiting for my treatment schedule, appointments with oncolgy etc. so I feel starved of information about my condition. One thing that stuck during my diagnosis conversation was talk of treatment with stereotactic radiotherapy. I had radio for my breast cancer following chemo, so I know I'm in for a rough ride, but has anyone who's gone through this treatment got advice or information about what its like please?

  • A warm welcome to the forum Lorna76 although I'm sorry to read that you were diagnosed with liver cancer last week.

    Hopefully some of our members who have had this type of radiotherapy will be along to share their advice with you soon but in the meantime I wanted to share some information we have on our website about liver cancer and stereotactic radiotherapy.
