After a long journey at gynae investigating and removing a large cervical polyp I have been diagnosed with comp lex atypical hyperplasia, is this cancer? I should have been investigated on the 2 week wait protocol but my gp missed my symptoms so it's been more than 6 months to get here. I now need hysterectomy including ovaries & tubes, consultant can't rule out carcinoma. Can anyone give advice on recovery after op and what happens if carcinoma is detected?
