So scared

3 weeks ago I was told I had bladder cancer.I couldnt believe what I was being told. I had an ultrasound 6 months earlier and it was all clear .A week later the biopsy showed it was grade 3 invasive bladder cancer. Ct scan on 31st August to see if it has spread anywhere .Feel as if I'm in a bad dream .Any help would be appreciated please .Thanks xxx

    Im sorry to hear your story - I got my CT scan results on Monday that a mass on my kidney is 90% chance of being cancerous. Although it crossed my mind, I didn’t want it to be me!

    I’m 48 with an 11 & 8 year old and im staying strong for them and my husband - I’m like you, not going anywhere as I’ve too much to live for - but I’ve been awake since 430am and my mind is in overdrive so I’m having a wobble - that’s when this forum is a great place for giving me a ‘virtual shake’ as - sadly - I realise there are people a lot worse than me. 

    Let us know how you get on on 31st August - the waiting is the worst - but sending extra positivity your way x

    Stay strong and say I can do this!!! I didnt sleep last night either. Met my consultant yesterday and he told me what I might expect depending on my scan results.Have to stay positive... my wee grandson coming down for a visit later.. .lots of hugs.. .best medicine ever ️ Will be thinking about you and your wee family and praying... now stay strong, if grannieannie can, you can ️ ️ ️ ️xxxxxxxxxxx

    I am generally but it's the quiet of the night when your mind wanders :( Im a childminder so my day are busy and 'normal' so that keeps me occupied too :)  Extra hugs for you & Luke :love:xx

    i pee alot in the  day and night i am scared i have bladder cancer and i dont know what to do there is no blood in my urine but i am worried i had all my blood results back and they all came back nomal for other test s i had done but i am just worried why i go for a wee round 30 to 40 time s a day

    have they done an ultrasound on your kidneys? If not ask them to regardless of blood or urine tests coming back normal.

    I'm sorry but your "about me" description is blank - which makes it hard to guess.

    Talk to your GP about your concerns. Your symptoms could be caused by so many things. I was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (similar symptoms), someone close to me has a history of cystitis (similar symptoms) and yet another friend has a weak bladder (similar symptoms). 

    The possible causes are multiple, bladder cancer is only one of many possibilities.

    I sincerely hope the root cause is something non life threatening.
