Hello kat and welcome; I have just read your two posts.  I think the best people to advise you are the doctors who are treating you.  I am so sorry you have been hit with this diagnosis.  They will tell you whether you need to go ahead with treatment quickly and depending on when your holiday is booked and how long you will be away whether it would be okay to go ahead with it.  I hope this is the case but knowing so little and not having any medical training I like most people here am not really in a position to advise you.  In your other post you mention that you are not happy with what is being proposed.  Have you talked this through with your doctors?  Do come back and give us a bit more information.  Annie
