My mum has just been told that she has cancer. She is 67

No symptoms just shortness of breath over a month ago that resulted in her being admitted to hospital for 4 days. She received antibiotics for a poss chest infection or water and a clot on the lung.

This hospital stay triggered an endoscopy with 3 biopsies , one of which came back as cancer. It is at the top of the stomach?

A CT scan has now founds clots on the lungs and areas of cancer on them as well in her abdomen. She was admitted last night so they blood clots can be monitored whilst meds are received.

My mum has no symptoms ? The shortness of breath has totally cleared up?

She is fit and well? No Lisa of appetite or any of the ailments they keep asking her??

She has had 3 ops on her feet for bunions during the past 2 years and the last one had to be done again as it didn’t correct the problem. My mum still has a cast on which is due to be removed on 9th Aug.

But that’s it?

No symptons, nothing?

Csn this be right? It’s like they are talking about someone else when they talk to her as she looks so well if but very fed up??

any info/advice would be greatly appreciated
