has anyone experienced a pre op assessment for operation, mine is mediastinal, everything was fine saw consultant various doctors etc, previously I had had two x rays, followed by blood test and then ct scan, this is why I was having operation to remove the lump. I was told tests were inconclusive so I was quite positive, I have then been phoned up to tell me I need ultrasound before operation, I wasn’t with it as I thought it was same test, however obviously it isn’t, I asked nurse at hospital as to why and was told my liver blood tests came back abnormal?
Feel a bit un nerved by this?
