Hiya guys,
ok so I’m really struggling at the minute, I’ll give a quick description.... so I’m August 2011 my dad was diagnosed with myeloma and then by December 2011 my mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Breast cancer runs in my mums side of the family so she was on top of mamagrams etc, fortunately they caught the cancer early on so she just had radiotherapy treatment and some lymph nodes removed and was put on some medication for 5 years, she was then given the all clear. Since coming of that medication she has had 3 skin cancers removed, referred herself back to our gp because of changes to her outer breast. Approximately 1 month ago after suffering stomach cramps and other symptoms she went back to gp with jaundiced eyes and was advised to go straight to hospital, after numerous scans and blood tests she has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer with secondary cancer in the liver. They suspect she has something going on with her lady organs too which will be looked at more tomorrow. When diagnosis was made my parents were told there is no cure for my mum but chemo can be given to prolong her time with us. I’m sorry if this is a long post and doesn’t make much sense.... I’m looking for anyone who can relate??
