My Dad just diagnosed with secondaries in lung & liver..

My amazing dad has just been diagnosed with secondary cancers in liver and lung after being cancer free for almost three years. He beat it over 14 years ago when he had his bladder removed, it returned three years ago and part of his bowel was removed. Both times he refused chemo and radio therapy and was told he was cancer free. It’s back and I feel so upset and angry it just seems so unfair. He has been told they are very small.

Does anyone have any advice or experience, I just can’t bear the though of losing him :( x

  • Welcome to the forum MissSunshine although I'm sorry to read that your dad has just been diagnosed with secondary cancers in his liver and lung.

One of our newer members [@Molilmo]‍ is in a similar situation with their mum and now that I've mentioned them in this post they'll hopefully pop by when they can to say hello and share their advice and experiences with you. Do feel free to have a look around the forum for previous discussions about this as well by using the 'search forum' option in the blue bar above.

As you've only just found out about this diagnosis you may have a few questions playing on your mind so if you want to find out more about it you can do so on our website just here.

    Kind regards,
