I know you must feel pretty scared at the moment , we all are when we get diagnosed ... Although we can only guess what could be the plan your mum will have ... But it will probably include scans and Drs appointments ... They will usually get all the information they get and have a meeting on what your mum will have as treatment etc ... The waiting is the hardest part, but she should get an oncology team with nurses that explain things with her ...
Maybe you could go with her as she'll need someone to write down questions you may have and to write down what their plan of action is too , coz it all went over my head and l was so glad l took my daughter in law and pen and paper too ..
Once the shock dies down ... Try to not look too far ahead or to think of "what ifs" take every day and every test as and when it comes up ... I'm nearly 11 months post masectomy and I'm still doing o.k and mine was a grade 3 ... So try not to panic ... There's lots of us on here walking the same journey ...
