Hi there ... If you got bupa I'd definitely have gone down that route ... Different world ... N H S is so stretched ... Just my opinion ... My lad had tests done private and was completely different expierance ... There's a lot of breast cancer ladies here ... All different stages and different treatments .. but we've all got one thing in common ... We want to kick cancers butt ... 

If you need someone to chat too I'm here most days .. someone will be able to help you ... I'm nearly 11 months post masectomy and doing o.k , I had grade 3 her 2 neg .. I've had no chemo or radio but I'm on tamoxifen for 5years ... but everyone is different, and my skin does not heal ... But everyone should get all the info , look at every angle and make a decision for themselfs ... My lymph node was clear so I'm glad l made the right decision for me ...  But l can understand why you feel like that ...

I would definitely go privately if you have the option. As Chris says the NHS is stretched but equally, there is some bad practice that really shouldn’t happen.
