I have just had an hysterectomy for endometrial cancer and I waited two weeks for my appointment after being diagnosed. I think waiting times vary but they do have targets to work within so keep pestering. My initial results took three weeks before I was told and I know the waiting is very hard. Once  I saw my surgeon/oncologist  things moved very quickly and my op happened exactly 7 weeks after my initial referral through my GP.

Keep ringing until you get an answer. I considered private treatment but was told I would still need a GP referral for that and it could take as long. Look  into private treatment if you can afford it but hysterectomys from my research can cost in excess of £6500 depending on where you are in the country. I certainly would have found that money if I thought I could  get it done any quicker but fortunately I didn’t have to.
