Hi Karen... so sorry you've had a breast cancer diagnosis ...

But your in great place here ... there's quite a few of us on here, who have been where you are now ... I'm a grade 3 her 2 ... and l had my mastectomy last July ... like you the grade 3 scared the xxxx out of me .. l wrote letters to loved ones, and even what I wanted for my funeral ... mind you, I'm glad I did ... they are all in a box and put away safely , hopefully not needed for a while yet ... but those early thoughts and feelings are normal ... and here l am, nearly 10 months on chatting to you ...

Well there's another lass, at the same stage as you .. if you look on a thread here, from POPPY and think it's under "really scared" you'll have someone to chat too who's at the same stage ... and if you see the answers from us oldies on here ... hopefully you'll realise, this is doable ... it's the initial shock that's the scariest ...  

Wer all at different stages ... different treatments ... but wer all still standing, and we all remember those early days ... so any questions, one of us, will be able to help ... jolomine got me through my early days ... and she's had double mastectomy and she's still here years down the line, still helping us ...

So take a deep breath ... and know your not alone ... many have trod this path ... and many will follow ... though at first it makes you feel the only one ... so hold on in there ... you can do this ... Chrissie xx
