Just been diagnosed lung cancer

Hi after repeated chest infections and told I had puemonia..i went for routine chest x Ray which quickly was a CT Scan then rapid lung access clinic, embus and now diagnosis of small cell lung cancer. I can't believe it. Chemotherapy starts next week..im scared...

    I'm sorry to read that you've been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. It can be a huge shock finding out you have cancer as many of our members here know and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.

    In the meantime I just wanted to make you aware of a section we have on our site dedicated to lung cancer in case you wanted to find out more about your diagnosis. I also wanted to put you in touch with [@Pinkblossom]‍ as her mum started chemo for small cell lung cancer a few weeks ago so it may be good for you to chat and support each other at this time. 

    Good luck for the start of your chemo next week Shelly. I hope it goes well and you don't experience too many side effects.

    Hi Shelly, I have also just been diagnosed with cancer on my left adrenal gland and in my left lung, I have had biospys taken on Thursday and seeing the specialist a week Monday. I am praying they can treat me but it's a waiting came.
