Letter of confirmation

I have just received a letter from my GP to say that I have skin cancer and that they plan to treat me by means of a cream that stays in situ for 3 hours followed by red light treatment - can anyone tell me more about what type of cancer this is likely to be? And can it spread?

  • Sorry  Audi I don’t have answers. You could try speaking to your GP to clarify matters. At my doctors we can book a call back from a doctor. Can you do the same?  Or maybe try ringing or messaging the nurses on this website. They are there during the day. Phone number and hours are on this website.

if you go to meet the team, ( in the menu down the left hand side) it tells you how to get in touch with the nurses by phone, message or email.

  • Hi Audi and welcome to Cancer Chat.

I just wanted to follow-up on Sundial's message to say that our nurses would be happy to try to answer any questions you have on this, if you'd like to give them a call: 0808 800 4040 (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm). You can also drop them a line via their contact form.

I hope you get some reassurance soon; do keep posting if you'd like to talk - we're here to listen.

    Best wishes,
