Im new Hi everyone

Hi there my husband has been diagnosed with brain cancer it has been a rollercoaster to say the least. He had 3 tumours one which was removed the other 2 were so small they thought would be more of a risk to try to remove they thought at the time radiosurgery would be the option to take so after receiving a week radiotherapy and a day of radiosurgery we had to wait 3 weeks to go for the results so after praying long and hard we got the bad news the treatment hadnt worked the 2 tumours have grown with swelling .I dont know what way to turn i would love to hear from anyone else whos been in our shoes

  • Hi lezelym

I'm not in your shoes as my mum has lung cancer and I don't know anything about brain cancer

I just wanted to say hello and send you a big hug xxx

  • Thank you for your kind words its good to hear from other people who are also experiencing this horrible disease keep in touch x

  • Hi lezelym

I'm new to this site & like you have to watch someone we love suffer. My husband has only just been told that all is not well in his stomach but we have no definate diagnosis yet. They want to repeat the CT & camera tests & the consultant said he was quite a mystery. ( I agree & I've only known him 40 years!!! ) The not knowing is awful but knowing for definate would be worse so I am in limbo.

I am so sorry for the situation you & your husband find yourselves in & I would...before yesterday.... have offered you words of comfort without any real meaning behind them. Now I know that words seem so meaningless yet mean everything at the same time. Sending you everything that I wish for myself
