I just loved getting texts that said thinking of you ... or sending a hug ... or just being there ... everyone is different ... some don't want to talk about it ... some really do want to get it all off their chest and just someone to listen is invaluable ... no one can take it away ... but they can walk by our sides on this scary journey we find our self on ... 

I had a daughter in law who was very mater of fact ... to the other end where my niece was inconsolable ... both were wonderfull ... and after initial shock we all met somewhere in the middle ... 

So I'd just say go with the flow ... you will soon know how you can help by looking and listening when you see them ... good luck but I'm sure you'll do just fine ... Chrissie xx
