Not sure about complaining

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer last week.  Ta grade 2 non invasive.  I am really upset as I first presented myself with very visible blood in my urine more  than a year and a half ago.  The dr sent me to gynecology for checks as I wasn't quite sure where it was coming from (aged 56 and had menopause). The gynacology results came back clear.  Looking back I think I should have then been referred in to urology!   I have presented since several times with very visible blood in my urine but still no one referred me to urology.  It was only on the off chance of seeing yet another gp that I was finally sent for  investigations.  Lo And behold I am diagnosed with bladder cancer.  Been in hospital and had TURBT.  I am quite upset as I feel if I had of been taken notice of on the good few occasions I presented with blood in my urine and came backinfection clear and given antibiotics, then I possibly might not have had two bladder tumours.  I want speak to someone about it but dont know what to do for the best.  I have a gp appointment on Friday.
