Juvenile Granulosa Cell Tumour

Hi,

My name is Laura and I am 24 years old. 3 weeks ago I had laparotomy to remove a large tumour, my right ovary, right fallopian tube, dissection of my lymph nodes in the right side of my pelves and a biopsy of the cysts on the left ovary. The surgery had a few complications and I've had complications post surgery such as wound infection, chest infection and fluid in my chest.

My biopsy result came back as a juvenile granulosa cell tumour. Thankfully it was stage 1c grade 1 so as far as I am aware I have no more tumours.

My doctors are baffled by this due to me being so young and the hospital havent had a case of it in 10 years. I am finding it hard to find information about it. I'm not surs whats really going on anymore and if theres anyone that has information that would be amazing.

Thanks

Laura
