Hello Wendy; this must have been a shock to you - did you have no symptoms?   You have a right to  be shocked and frightened - who wouldn't be?   Thank goodness your appointment is on Monday so you won't have to hang around much longer waiting for information.  You don't mention your family but I hope they are there giving you any help and support which would help you in these waiting days.  Please let us know how you get on; come to this forum and post as often as you want in the meantime.  Annie

I had no symptoms  (I have copd) and got a chest infection when back off hols in Feb. My husband and my family have been fantastic but I can't bear seeing the pain in thier eyes it breaks my heart. Telling my kids was the worst thing ever!!!! I've got a grandbaby due in August I have to be here and I will xxxx
