Hi hun if you mean Triple Negative Breast cancer, my mu was diagnosed when she was 51, 14 years ago, it is an aggressive cancer, what grade have they said it is, my mum's was grade 3. She had a full mastectomy on her left breast then had chemo. A year later it came back as a secondary to her lung, she had part of her lung taken out and then further chemo and radio. Touch wood it has never come back in 13 years :) From what we researched about a TNBC, it is less than 5% of breast cancers, so quite rare, but does have a high risk of returning within 5 years of the first diagnosis, however if you get through the secondary the risk then drops a lot to it ever coming back. I'm not sure if that helps but just giving you our experience of TNBC, also my sister got TNBC in 2015, so we got checked genetically and found out we have the BRCA2 gene, so if any of your family have had breast or ovarian cancer it would be a good idea to ask your doctor to be referred to a genetics clinic :) x
