Granulosa cell tumor.

Any have this?

I had   hysterectomy and when  he pulled out the left ovary it was covered. He closed me up and sent it off. Now I I have cancer !  we're not sure if it's on the right ovary or not I go today to have a vaginal sonogram and I'm very worried ..anyone else I have this?  I had my hysterectomy on February 21st of 2018 so this is all new to me..

  • I used to have 3 monthly bloods til Inhibin was raised last Sept. they then decided to increase that to six weekly, followed by CT scans Oct, when they couldn't see anything, tand another this Jan, when they could, followed by surgery in early Feb to remove tumours around bladder, ureter, colon & vagina - more than they expected, but I recovered relatively well, bar an infection that antibiotics sorted out. Like you, I have felt generally OK as both my treatments Feb 2017 and Feb 2018 have been surgery via laparoscopy. It's the next stage I'm more anxious about, so now hoping it's Tamoxifen! Have definitely found getting out into fresh air, watching the changes of the seasons and appreciating the small things have helped. Just you carry on with your holiday plans and positive thinking. I take comfort in the thought that there are many of us out there, handling recurrences with matter of fact ness and determination, and just getting in with life, long may we thrive!
