Hi there, so sorry you are going through such a hard time ... l can't imagine just how heartbraking it is ...unfortunately cancer effects even the fittest of us, and has no compassion on age ...

All I can say, is get all the info you can find ... do pros and cons ... take the Drs point of view ... and above all, if your son is old enough as I'm guessing he's probably around 20 or so as you said he doesn't smoke or drink ... so the last decision would be his ... hope your son gets through and does well as possible...Chrissie x

So sorry to read about your son's condition. I was diagnosed with stage 4 OC in 2013 at the age off 55 and was initially told I was too young to be at risk of yaving cancer, so your son has been incredibly unlucky. Sometimes cells mutate for no obvious reason, which is frustrating. Only 40% of cancers can be avoided by doing things differently, so please try not to waste too much time and emotion trying to work out what caused your son's cancer. I'd never smoked in my life and live  in a smoke free house. 

Has his chemo finished now? After mine, I concentrated on getting my fitness back, eating healthily and then slowly building up the levels of exercise I could manage. 

I'm currently having a CT scan every six months to check on how my cancer is doing.
