new kid on block

hi all  i have a large 12 cm tumour on my left lung and treatment will hopefully start soon when the type is identified from my recent biopcy.  My attitude to this beast is i will kill  it with the help of the med team in Bury and other Manchester hospitals. pchad

  • Hi there pchad ... and a warm welcome to you ... well a positive mind, to me is a good thing ... we all look at this cancer differently ... and it is just like a rollercoaster ... ups and downs ... bit it's all about holding on tight , it's always a bumpy ride ... but if you do have low days , just look around, wer all on this rollercoaster to gether ... you'll get high 5s on good days, and a big virtual hug and a shoulder to lean on on low ones ...

So fingers crossed you'll kick cancers *** right along the road ... coz cancer doesn't want us strong, it wants to see us crumble ... you'll be able to help others on here that need a hand to hold, and not feeling strong but they need someone who can help them through ... Chrissie x

  • Hi pchad I'm too recently diagnosed with lung cancer in my right lung I'm due to start chemo next Tuesday and it is a rollercoaster but having the pre chemo meeting today I feel slightly less worried I will be going to a hospital where they have a 24/7 telephone line to support all oncology patients. Good luck and kick *** Val xxx

    Hi Pchad,

First of all let me wish you a very warm welcome to our forum.

It is great to find someone with a positive attitude to cancer and, I sincerely that, with the hope of your dedicated care team, you’ll do exactly as you said and kick it into touch.

When are you hoping to get your results back?

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine
