Hello Percival.  Sorry to hear your news.  What type of cancer does your dad have?  Make sure you get all the information you need.    If you have only just received this news today I expect you will be in shock and unable to think clearly about what is going to happen.  From what I gather on this forum there can be a bit of a hiatus and confusion between diagnosis and the ongoing plan being slotted into place so don't worry about having to ask the questions that you need to have answered.  Your dad will need reassurance and won't want chaos breaking out among his family.  All a very new uncertain world.
