I'm 57 and I had a Total Abdominal Hysterectomy in May 2017 because of fibroids and bleeding after menopause. After the fibroid was analysed, which took weeks , I was told It was an ESS of low grade but I would have to have 3 monthly scans and follow up appointments at a hospital in London.
Whilst I am pleased to be under such anazing care ,I still feel relatively ignorant about this condition and would love to talk to anyone out there with a similar story. My present mindset is to stay positive and get on with life but just before each appointment I feel a bit nervous. My next visit is on the 18th Jan!!!
