Oh my dear; this sounds somewhat nightmarish.  I hope that the nurses or someone more knowledgeable than me picks up your post.  It sounds as though they are checking your breasts rather than having definite knowledge.  Ask questions of the medics with whom you come into contact.  You need to know what is happening at this frightening time.  Do get family and/or friends to  help you if you are having trouble coping with it all.    It might be an idea to write down everything you want to ask beforehand so things don't get forgotten.  In the meantime you could try ringing Macmillan; I will look up the number for you and get back to you.
