Hi Stace,
A warm welcome to Cancer Chat.
I am so sorry to hear about your Mum's recent diagnosis. This is so hard for you all to come to terms with.
What age is she and how is she coping?
I myself thought that I might have a similar diagnosis. Everything was so infected that I developed Empyaemia (pustular pleurisy) and the doctors were not at all confident that they could pull me through. Eventually, after two operations, i was relieved of a 3 inch gall stone. It was like 2 golf balls welded together. Fortunately, the cancer they suspected, didn't materialise. Instead, I was diagnosed with breast cancer 7 years ago and I have now had 3 bouts of it.
I am sure that you are keen to hook up with others who have had similar problems to your mum. If you use the search engine on the blue banner att the top of this page and insert gall ladder, you will find previous posts on the suject. There are over 1,000 posts, so I'm sure that you should find some help there.
Please keep in touch and let us know how things go. We are always here for both of you, whenever you feel like talking.
Kind regards,
Jolamine.xx
She's 51 there doesn't seem to be much about it anywhere it's spread to the liver and stomach
Hi Stace,
She's not old. Have you tried using the search engine on this page?
Kind regards,
