Stage 4 adenocarcinoma lung cancer

Such a shock. Life turned upside down. Went to ER in resp distress on July 31 2017  By aug 6 diagnosed with stage 4 lun ca. I am ablr to take afatinib. Still trying to come to grips. 

Oh BTW my husband dx with AML first of April. Had finnished tx. Now in remission when we learn of my diagnosis. WOW. Talk about a "new normal "

  • I'm so sorry to hear of the bittersweet situation you find yourself in rdr1964.

    Many of our members here know what a shock being given a cancer diagnosis can be and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer their support and share their experiences with you.
