  • Hi mama

you throughi has been through a lot and is rather raw

ask your hospital for a portable nebuliser and use it for in the morning and la5 at night ... it will help break down the mucus and might lessen the coughing

woodstock ... well done for getting this far .... 6 months out is about when proper life starts ... welcome to your new normal too ... embrace it too

hows you taste, you should have a fair bit of it back now

hows the tiredness too .... god it whacked me out

    all happy thought to all

  • Thanks for your kind words. I have been REALLY lucky, never had any problems with taste other than with spicey foods. As for the fatigue.. I’m 67 and a regular jogger, but not for the last few months. I ran most days throughout my treatment but the fatigue got me about a week before it ended and , to a gradual lessening degree has remained. I’m pretty active anyway and am prepared to wait for my body to let me know to resume jogging when it’s ready. So, compared to what others go through I’ve been blessed. I’m stuck with the constant throat clearing because of the catarrh but , as we say, that is our new normal and I most certainly do embrace it, as the alternative was not too appealing..... Best wishes to you and good luck for the future.

  • Loving the mask .... will go well for Halloween

  • It’s on my allotment with a solar powered bulb inside. Works wonders to scare the birds ( and any kids that happen to be there ! ) Also it’s been informative to people, who like myself, had no idea these things existed before having to find out the hard way. I shall rely on my unadorned face for Halloween.... far more scary.
