So sorry bout your grandad... it is so scary ... I can’t answer your question as my journey is different .. but if you ring free phone on here or McMillan free phone , they have trained nurses you can chat too .. I used them myself early on and they really helped me ... they will help everyone who it effectes not just the one who has it ... but we’ve all been where you are, and your not alone ... every feeling your feeling is so normal we all feel lost, bewildered, angry, hopeful, every thing ... so hang on in there ... sending you a big hug ... Thank you. I've been on the phone to them constantly these last two days. They've helped me have more positive thoughts but now his chemo is starting Wednesday instead and I'm just scare what can happen in the next 5 days inside him if it spreads more x

Hay , the sooner it starts the better... he’s in good hands an sure he’ll get the treatment he needs ..  I’m sure your grandad will need you to feel brave for him ... if I’d have had people around me panicing when I had my op , I would av been a bag of nurves ... the best thing you can do for him now is hold his hand on this journey be it long or short .. most of us don’t know for sure how long we have ... but we can make the most of every day ... don’t look ahead coz then you will panic .. stay in the day ... it’s like a cancer rollercoaster one day your on the up, the next you have a down day .. unfortunately there’s no easy way through , so find the brave you that is in there ... and bring it out for him ... 

my daughter in law stopped us panicing .. she said one day at a time and we’ll face any problems if and when they come up .. no more “what ifs” it made us cope ...so please try and stay a little calmer .. hold his hand and walk this path with him ... big hug Chrisie xx ️
