My mum has just been told she has cervical cancer. She has just had further blood test and has a full scan booked in, so it is really early stages. I just feel so helpless and finding it hard not really knowing whats coming next.

Hello! I was diagnosed with cervical cancer over fourteen years ago, when they catch it early it is a good thing and there are lots of treatment options! Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to help as best I can!

Hi! Diagnosed 20 years ago with cervical cancer. I was terrified but if caught early it is not a problem. Unfortunately, now 74, I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer (uterus) a month ago, just had everything taken away on 13 Sepember - uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries and cervix. Tests came back that it had not spread, even the cervix was clear, which proves treatment worked. I am feeling absolutely fine. Not even going to be followed up. If mum just does everything they tell her, she'll be fine. Pam
